Star Plus and radio network Big FM have unveiled the fifth edition of their joint initiative Big Star Entertainment Awards.

While congratulating Star India CEO Uday Shankar for winning the IMPACT Person of the Decade award, Aroon Purie, Chairman, India Today Group candidly admitted that he had “misjudged” Shankar’s potential for corporate leadership during his stint with Aaj Tak, the Hindi news channel run by the Group.

STAR India COO Sanjay Gupta says ratings from films have remained the same in three years adding that the return on investment (RoI) has worsened in the past three years.
