Star Plus leads weekday programming with five shows in top 10 followed by Zee TV with 3 and Colors with 2 shows in Week 45.

Sanjay Gupta, COO, Star India said, “Nobody could produce it. So we had to bring in people who had done contact sports, knew the camera work needed, train the commentators.”

Star India CEO Uday Shankar said, “In the current scenario the collections are happening but the content owners are not getting the money, despite the fact that the consumers are paying it. Currently the MSOs are getting only 25 per cent of the collection from the LCOs. The new RIO assures a more disciplined and transparent manner of operating for all,”
