Channel [ v ] launches next season of 'Axe Ur Ex'

The one you think is your better half promises you the world, to be at your side through thick and thin and one fine day leaves you high and dry - happens to the best of us. “Vengeance” has a new address altogether. Witness the new evil and bold season of Axe Ur Ex 2 launching on 14 August, 2011 at 7 pm only on Channel [v].

A reality show with a concept that changed the face of relationships altogether is back with a bang! The show gives the dumped partner, the opportunity to play the craziest of pranks on his / her ex and turn their life into a living hell for an entire day. The ditcher deserves to be avenged and you get the right to be in control of that revenge! Don’t get mad, get even!

So what’s different about the second season? The show now supports the protagonist with a team of four pranksters who are part of the core team that plays wild, entertaining and embarrassing pranks on the ex. For the first time ever, the viewers get introduced to the ‘War Room’- the place that serves as the planning and monitoring centre for the entire episode. And to add to all the excitement, if the avenger still feels the need for closure, we have now introduced “Hell Zone” – where the avenger can disclose one deepest, darkest secret of the lover on national television!

Commenting on the new show, Prem Kamath, Executive VP & GM adds, “As a positive enabler of the youth, we attempt to give viewers the opportunity to right the wrongs of their past. Axe Ur Ex had a tremendous response in the first season, as entertainment as well as a provider of true closure. We are confident the new avataar will have an equally positive resonance with the youth.”

In the ultimate search for retribution, watch avengers playing pranks that will make their partners scream, yell and literally pull their hair out! The most exciting journey of a jilted lover; with never-seen-before mortifying tricks!

Witness the wildest of pranks played on the unsympathetic lover only on Channel [v]’s Axe Ur Ex, every Sunday at 7 pm.
