Fox Traveller brings kitchen revival show ‘Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA’

13 December 2013

Fox Traveller has for the first time paired up with television’s most brutally honest chef, Gordon Ramsay, who turns into a messiah for struggling restaurants on the show ‘Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares’. Catch the luminary Chef Ramsay in a nail-biting show as he travels the US and gets his hands dirty to rescue some drowning restaurants.

Ramsay acts the trouble-shooter, as he takes over some of the most unsuccessful restaurants and helps them turn around their fortunes with his candid and uninhibited advice. Heated arguments, flying tempers and verbal bashing sessions between Ramsay and the restaurant owners – expect high drama as the restaurant owners cook up a storm on path to success, under the watchful eye of the superstar chef.

‘Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA’ will air every Friday to Sunday at 10 PM starting today.

Debarpita Banerjee, VP – Marketing, Fox International Channels, said, “With Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, we present that facet of the food business which is yet unknown to Indian viewers – the ‘business’ of cooking. It is interesting not only to watch Gordon Ramsay’s creative mind ticking as he offers his expertise and experience to drowning restaurants, but also to see how each restaurant is saved and put back on a winning streak.”

Is the Media in trouble? Mumbai Press Club holds discussion on subject

Uday Shankar, Star India CEO said, “Just because the media has become capital-intensive, doesn’t mean that it has to compromise on your integrity. Every business has to have a value system, and the editor needs to be sensitive to that. Journalists need to wake up to the economic reality, and it can’t be denied. On the other hand, those who recognise that are willing to swing to the other extreme and do anything. That also is neither healthy nor sustainable.”
