GEC Watch: Colors returns to No. 2; &TV grows to 105 TVM

Sony Pal, Big Magic and Zindagi also register marginal growth in viewership in Week 11 of TAM 2015.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 11 of TAM 2015 (March 8 – March 14) for CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus maintained its leadership position despite marginal loss in gross viewership. The seesaw battle for No. 2 slot continued with Colors returned to the No. 2 position, pushing Zee TV to No. 3. Life OK stayed put at No. 4, while SAB TV and Sony were at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.
&TV strengthened its position at No. 7 in its second week. The channel had opened at 90.6 TVM last week.
Star Plus recorded a gross viewership of 592 GTVM with a relative share of 24.05% (last week 604 GTVM).
Colors returned at No. 2 position with a gross viewership of 428 GTVM with a relative share of 17.38% (last week 424 GTVM).
Zee TV witnessed decline in its viewership this week and slipped to No. 3 position. The channel recorded 407 GTVM with a relative share of 16.53% (last week 427 GTVM).
Life OK recorded a gross viewership of 307 GTVM and a relative share of 12.47% (last week 314 TVM).
SAB TV witnessed a sharp decline in its viewership this week and recorded 288 GTVM with 11.70% relative share (last week 312 GTVM).
Sony recorded a gross viewership of 221 GTVM with relative share of 8.98% (last week 247 GTVM).
&TV strengthened its position at No. 7 in its second week with a gross viewership of 105 TVM and a relative share of 4.26% (last week 90.6 TVM).
Big Magic recorded 42 GTVM with a relative share of 1.71% (last week 40 GTVM).
Sony Pal grew to 42 GTVM and had a relative share of 1.71% (last week 38 GTVM).
Zindagi was at 23 GTVM and a relative share of 0.93% (last week 22 GTVM).
Epic recorded a gross viewership of 7.4 GTVM against last week’s 8.2 GTVM.
