Keep Calm & Karo Aaraam with STAR Plus’ latest show Tu Mera Hero

New Delhi, 4th December 2014: A wise man once said, “Laziness is the art of resting before you get tired” and these are the golden words that chronicle the life of Titu, the lead protagonist of STAR Plus’ new series ‘Tu Mera Hero’. Starting 22nd December 2014 at 8PM on STAR Plus, the show will bring to light the lives of Titu – a lazy, laid-back yet extremely humorous and charming boy – and Panchi, the bubbly girl next door who dreams of a fairy tale love story! Set in Mathura ‘Tu Mera Hero’ traces the unpredictable union of Titu essayed by Delhi boy Priyanshu Jora and Panchi which is being played by Sonia Balani.

Produced by Shashi-Sumeet Productions, Tu Mera Hero traces the journey of Titu and Panchi’s unconventional story. For the first time on Television, a show will break the stereotype attached to a male protagonist, as Titu is all set to win hearts and minds of the Indian audience with his quirky and funny outlook towards life, all the while being laidback. It’s an endeavor to present a vibrant and youthful story and will be interesting to see what happens when Panchi comes into Titu’s life. Audiences should enjoy this refreshing tale as the chemistry between the affable Titu and the dreamy Panchi will sizzle TV screens this December. Tu Mera Hero also stars Akhilendra Mishra, as the strict father and Amita Khopkar as the doting mother of Titu. This show will bring forth the fun element with the protagonists’ quirky approach to life, all the while trying to break the typical male stereotype.

Tu Mera Hero has been extensively shot in Mathura and brings out the finer aspects of life; like humor and romance. With a lighter take on family drama, the show promises to be an absolute entertainer, full of dreamy Bollywood moments that will surely get the audience foot tapping in no time.
