Movies OK pays tribute to Bollywoods iconic entertainers

Movies OK continues 100 years of Indian cinema celebration showcasing the best of Bollywood's Comedy Classics every Sunday evening all September

Movies OK, the ultimate movie destination for family entertainment, presents yet another occasion for families to bond over the magic of yesteryears' Indian cinema. In extension of its celebration of 100 years of Indian cinema, the Hindi movie channel pays a tribute to the iconic entertainers of Bollywood this September launching a special movie festival called 'Comedy Classics'. The festival will run every Sunday evening for the full month of September.

The festival will showcase memorable comedy classics of some of Bollywood's funniest superstars. From Amol Palekar's romantic comedy Chhoti Si Baat, Anil Kapoor's Chameli Ki Shaadi to Sanjeev Kapoor's Nauker and Angoor, the festival will showcase some of Bollywood's best comedy entertainers.

Commenting on this initiative, Hemal Jhaveri, Executive Vice President of Movies OK said, "The main focus at Movies OK has always been the family audience. We believe in showcasing films which the entire family can enjoy watching together. And comedy is the best genre for that purpose.
