Satyamev Jayate Season 3 opens with a phenomenal reach

The simulcast of Satyamev Jayate on 8 channels, and the simulcast of Mumkin Hai on Star Plus and ABP News record aggregate reach of 129.6 million.

The third season of Satyamev Jayate, which is inspiring people to believe that change is indeed possible, received a tremendous response for the first episode of this season. For the first time, a special Live segment titled ‘Mumkin Hai’ was launched on Star Plus and ABP News, where Aamir spoke to the nation through live dial-ins and social media platforms immediately after the main episode of Satyamev Jayate.
Satyamev Jayate and the live show ‘Mumkin Hai’ received an aggregated reach of 129.6 million* with the simulcast of Satyamev Jayate on 8 channels, and the simulcast of Mumkin Hai on Star Plus and ABP News. The lead channel Star Plus accounted for 72 % of the overall viewership.
Satyamev Jayate’s take on the importance of sports in one’s life caught the country’s attention and witnessed major discussions both offline and online, with responses also pouring in from Ministers, Sports icons & Bollywood celebrities.
The show also had a record breaking Season debut on the digital platform. The hashtag #LetsPlayIndia trended at no.1 worldwide on twitter with nearly 1 lac tweets coming in a day for the show. The episode not only evoked responses from general public but also from eminent personalities like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Kiran Bedi, Naveen Jindal, Arvind Kejriwal and the Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal who sent out a series of tweets during and after the show not only appreciating the efforts of Satyamav Jayte but also promising to make sports a way of life in the country.
In addition to Twitter, the show also occupied the top slot on Facebook in India on the day of the first episode. The show also received a whopping 23 lac missed calls of support for its Mumkin Hai campaign, within 24 hours of airing the 1st episode of this season.
This season of Satyamev Jayate has already crossed 2.5 billion potential impressions on digital. Another highlight of the show’s massive popularity on digital was seen immediately after the airing of the first episode as the Satyamev Jayate Twitter handle became the second fastest growing Twitter profile in the world.
Satyamev Jayate airs every Sunday at 11 AM, followed by a 60 minute live show, Mumkin Hai.
