Seven out of top 10 fiction shows are on Star Plus

Star Plus managed to further strengthen its hold on fiction this week, with seven shows in the top 10 list.

In terms of overall gross ratings, while the channel continued to be No. 1, this week Colors went up to No. 2 pushing Zee to No. 3, followed by Life Ok, SAB and Sony.

These ratings for Week 50 (2013) are based on industry sources. Since the last two weeks, production houses have been getting individual show ratings in point form rather than in thousands. But gross ratings of channels continue to come in thousands.

In light of this, we at Star Plus, wanted to spread awareness about voting rights amongst first time voters and mobilize the youth. We want to encourage them to exercise their vote and contribute to the country’s progress. However a lot of them are still not aware the registration is an important prerequisite to voting.
