7 January 2016

Star Gold HD announces a film festival which is every movie buff’s dream come true! The channel handpicks 30 of the choicest films that are a must see in one’s lifetime. Starting 10th January to 31st January at 8:00 PM, ‘30 Films to watch before you die’ promises to leave an indelible mark in the hearts and minds of its viewers.

The festival will outset with the perfectionist and superstar Aamir Khan’s ‘Rang De Basanti’, a landmark film in the history of Indian Cinema. Such was the impact of the film ‘No One Killed Jessica’, that for the first time ever, we saw real life being played out in reel life with Jessica Lal’s murder case being reopened after a tremendous youth outrage inspired by this cinematic masterpiece.  Next in line is Anurag Kashyap’s much-hyped film ‘Black Friday’, a true story based on 1993 Bombay bomb blasts, followed by Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Rock On’ and the evergreen ‘Cheeni Kum’.
Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s blockbuster film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ will kick-start the second week of the festival. ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’, ‘Gangaajal’, ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Highway’ will also be showcased as the part of the second-week festivity. The festival will culminate with the family entertainers like ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum’, ‘Johnny Gaddar’ and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara’.
