Star Gold UK to air Hockey India League 2015

Hockey India League on Star Gold
Star TV UK has confirmed it will be telecasting this year’s Hockey India League.
The tournament, now in its second year is being shown on the network as part of an 8-year agreement. At the time of the deal, an official from the organisation said, “FIH is to host one key tournament every year across all the eight years. When the tournament happens in India, Star Sports would be in a key position with its exclusive broadcast.”
The deal consists of broadcast rights for key FIH events, both in India and throughout the world. Star Sports holds the global media rights for all territories, excluding Argentina.
In the UK, Star Gold will air the series starting on Thursday 22nd January 2015 for a month. Coverage will start at 13:15 (UK), with early starts at 09:15 (UK).
