Star Plus and Big FM unveil 5th edition of Big Star Entertainment Awards

 Star Plus and radio network Big FM have unveiled the fifth edition of their joint initiative Big Star Entertainment Awards.

The awards property will applaud entertainers across the fields of Bollywood, television, music and sports and their contribution to the entertainment industry. Airing on 31 December, it will ring in the New Year on the channel, .
Reliance Broadcast Network CEO Tarun Katial said, “The award and our partnership with Star Plus have matured wonderfully and we are happy to once again bring together a congregation of the finest entertainers from across industries. This is part of our endeavour to empower audiences with a democratized award which allows them to choose their most favourite entertainers. We look forward to celebrating the evening with the industry and offering audiences an engaging watch on New Year’s Eve.”
Like every year, the awards will be a people’s choice offering, right from the nominations to the final winners. The voting process will see radio, television and digital being enabled for audiences to vote for their most deserving artist.
The award function will also be marketed across radio, television, print and social media.
