Star Plus increases lead margin; loss for Sony, Zee TV & Colors

The 40thweek of TAM 2011 has not been good Sony Entertainment Television, Zee TV and Colors while Star Plus has increased the lead margin by adding 17 GRPs. Among the grand finale of 3 reality shows, Just Dance of Star Plus has won the race with 2.9 TVR followed by Sa re ga ma pa li’l champs of Zee TV at 2.6 TVR and India’s got talent of Colors at 2 TVR.

The top 5 programmes for Week 40 (Sept 25 – Oct 1) are Saathiya (5 TVR), KBC (4.2 TVR), BALH (3.7 TVR), Crime Petrol (3.6) and Uttaran (3.5 TVR).

Star Pluscontinues to rule the Hindi GEC space with 17 more GRPs this week. The channel has recorded 306 GRPs (last week 289).

SonyEntertainment Television (SET)has lost maximum 21 GRPs in the week 40 among other channels. The channel has recorded 249 GRPs (last week 270).

At No.3,Colorshas also lost marginally and recorded 205 GRPs (last week 211 GRPs).

Now a distant No.4,Zee TVrecorded a new low in recent times with 157 points (last week 176).

SAB TVrecorded 126 GRPs in Week 40 (last week 123).
