3 June 2014

Produced by Panorama Entertainment, the show will premiere onJune 9 and will be aired Monday to Saturday at 6.30 PM.

Star Plus is all set to bring back romance with their new fiction show ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’. Starting on June 9, 2014, the show will explore the intertwined lives and worlds of three vivacious, fresh and diverse personalities – Suhani, Soumya and Yuvraj.

The show, which will be aired at 6.30 PM Monday to Saturday, has been produced by Panorama Entertainment. The show replaces ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’.

The light-hearted romance set in Allahabad will revolve around how the ideas and ideologies in life and love differ for Suhani, Soumya and Yuvraj. Suhani, an innocent, simple and average looking girl, wants a man who may not be good-looking or rich but is blessed with a heart of gold and who would love her for who she is. In contrast to Suhani is her extremely beautiful best friend Saumya who lives in her own dream world and believes that true love is all about being pampered by your partner. On the other hand, Yuvraj is a handsome and rich scion of a business family whose ultimate dream in life is to marry the most beautiful girl in the world, his belief being that external beauty alone is the marker of a good heart. The show will explore how the ideologies can collide and alter the lives of those involved.

Nikhil Madhok, Senior VP, Marketing & Programming Strategy, Star Plus, said, “With Suhaani Si Ek Ladki, we hope to further strengthen our bond with the youth. Over the last one year, Star Plus’ viewership amongst all demographics has increased significantly on the back of fresh engaging content. However, progressive young women have forged a especially strong bond with us. This show will resonate with them, highlighting their dreams and aspirations and a take on love that they will find refreshing.”
