In a first of its kind initiative, Star-India’s biggest TV Network extends theChannel [v] brand from the broadcast and digital space to an on-ground experience by introducing [v] Spot Café + Bar in India. The new exciting hangout space will present the opportunity to actually experience the brand and interact with it by focussing on the overall engagement, entertainment and experience that the viewers enjoy. The first [v] Spot Café + Bar was launched in New Delhi on 28th May 2011.

[v] Spot Café + Bar had the capital singing on its First Karaoke Night with VJ Andy on 29th June, 2011. From Pop to Hip Hop the crowd belted out numbers with hint of Andy'd fun and the unparalleled skills of the microphonics!!!!!

With well-etched characters and a strong urban narrative, the show deals with day-to-day issues faced by modern couples. We are positive that our metro audiences will see a connect with Ishita and Raman, and follow their story.”

Star India and Zee TV say the focus on making the stories relevant to today's generation has led to the success. "Vyasa wrote the Mahabharat after the Vedas, to convey the same message as the Vedas but through a story," says Star India's programming head Danish Khan.
