Valentine’s Day gets an interesting twist with Life OK launching their brand new show ‘Har Mard Ka Dard’

3 February 2017

Life OK is all set to add tadka this Valentine’s Day as they launch its brand new show ‘Har Mard Ka Dard’. With Hindi GECs gamut churning the usual saas bahu and supernatural stories to the audience, Life OK brings to you, a rib tickling comedy that explores the problems of every man in the society, which is, trying to find an answer to the most complex question ‘What Women Think?’. Even one of the greatest minds, Sigmund Freud once said, “The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is What does a woman want?” It would be interesting to watch if Vinod Khanna (Faisal Rashid) would he be able to understand his wife Sonu (Jhinal Belani). The show premieres on 14th February, Monday to Friday at 8:00pm.

Speaking about their association with Life OK, Producers Tony and Deeya Singh said, “This is a common question that most men think and even debate about. While the thought of being able to read a woman’s mind is funny, it will be amusing to see what happens with Vinod Khanna after receiving the boon. We are very excited about the show and believe it will find an instant connect with the audiences.”
Har Mard Ka Dard revolves around a typical Punjabi family; where the husband is struggling to keep his wife happy but always faces failure. Agitated with his life situation, Vinod goes to a temple and pleads to a goddess on his plight and begs for his prayers to be answered. He is taken by surprise when he hears the Goddess speak to him granting his wish.
While he thinks this blessing will rid him of his woes and help him understand women around him better, only time will tell if this is indeed a blessing or something else.
Har Mard Ka Dard promises a coterie of some of the best acting talents right from veteran actors Anita Kanwal and Vaishali Thakkar to television’s popular names Nitin Vakharia, Tuhinaa Vohra and Karan Singh Chhabra. Produced by DJ’s – A Creative Unit, the show is directed by Actor and Director Parmeet Sethi.
The lead actor and protagonist Faisal Rashid said, “Har Mard Ka Dard is a very interesting concept and am quite thrilled about it. Whether it is your mother, sister, wife or friend, decoding women is a topic that is often discussed and argued upon but never have we ever found a solution.”
An excited Parmeet Sethi said, “Comedy as a genre is something everyone enjoys. I really liked the concept and the fact that the Producers were looking to give it a film like appeal with extensive outdoors, big budgets etc. were also a reason for me to get excited."
Will Vinod Khanna achieve what no man has ever? Will he able to interpret what women want?

Sanjay Gupta, chief operating officer (COO) of Star India said that October 2014 is a realistic deadline for BARC. But the issue of the guidelines was another problem altogether. “What an ideal measurement system ought to be – this subject has been in discussion in the country for more than three years. It began with the Amit Mitra committee report in 2010. To my mind, as a system and as an industry, we have chosen not to act on it. I do believe that the existing television system is not compreh
