Adhu Idhu Yedhu season 3 – A fun game show launches on 31 March 2024, Sunday 1.30 pm on Star Vijay

The show will be hosted by none other than MA KA PA ANAND.  

26th March, 2024: STAR VIJAY has been the pioneer in bringing in innovative game shows and reality shows for the viewers for more than two decades in the history of Tamil satellite channels. One among those categories of peoples’ all-time favorite show is Adhu Idhu Yedhu a classic entertainment show which is making a comeback.  

Adhu Idhu Yedhu which was launched in 2009 was originally hosted by actor Sivakarthikeyan who was lauded for his best sense of humor and timely wittiness. The show then had three rounds one among them was ‘siricha pochu’ (you lose if you laugh) where-in the present comedy actors Robo Shankar and Ramar were hugely appreciated for their comedy sense. The most popular dialogue ‘ennamma ippadi pannriye ma’ became viral on social media and even a film song was composed with this line which was acted by none other than actor Sivakarthikeyan. 

Coming to the show, after successfully completing two seasons, the hilarious gang of comedians return, promising more entertainment and laughter with exciting rounds of actions and performances by renounced faces of media and film industry. So, it’s time to get set ready for a hilarious ride as STAR VIJAY launches this laughter guaranteed riot on 31 March 2024 airing every Sunday at 1.30 pm. The show will be hosted by none other than MA KA PA ANAND. 

 About the show!

 Participants and concept:

Three well-known celebrities will participate in the show, bringing their fame and charisma to the show.  Each segment promises fun-filled entertainment.

Every Guest gets 1000 points at the start of the game. Each player begins with 1000 points, and the challenge is to preserve the score across four rounds. The winner is the one who ends up with the most points without any reductions.

Segments:

GROUP LA DOOPU: These are the most favorite rounds of the show wherein three professional one being a ‘fake’, the participants must make out who the odd man out.  The challenge for the participants is to identify the fake professional among the performers.  

LUCKY ROOM:  Once the winner from the first round enters the lucky room, they are faced with three lifts labeled ADHU, IDHU, and YEDHU. Each lift has either an angel, a genie, or a beggar.  The surprises behind each elevator door add excitement to this part of the game! 

SING IN THE RAIN:  In this round, there will be people from different states and countries who cannot speak Tamil.  They'll wear headphones, and Tamil hit song would be played to them while they try to sing the song out the participants must find out the correct song. 

SIRICHA POCHU:  A comedy set of people will create a funny script and enact the same in front the participant and should make them laugh-out.  The challenge for the participants is not to smile, giggle or launch through the comedy performance.  The one who surpasses till the end will be the winner of the round. 

DO WHAT I SAY: A celebrity will take on the role of a famous movie character and pair up with a skilled person from various fields. The skilled person will show off his talent and the participant must repeat what he does.
